I bought this game as a special on Steam for myself and a friend to play a co-op game together. It was released in 2012 by Swedish producers, Fatshark Games, the same people who made Hamilton’s Great Adventure and War of the Roses. It’s set in a post-apocalyptic world where everyone wears gas masks and centres around a giant crater. And that’s all I know since we played it for about 30 minutes.
We decided that not only is this game not great for co-op but not that great altogether. Before we got to the co-op part, we had to move through an initial stage individually. In this initial stage, you gather the 3-man squad that turns this into a squad-based, top-down action-RPG. This would have been a simple process if the camera control hadn’t required constant adjustments and mouse controls. Also would have been a lot easier if I had known you need to control all three squad members the same way you control units in an RTS game.
Once we got to the hub area, we met up together; my three squad members and their identical 3 squad members. We entered a co-op mission and promptly found the gameplay generic, the only two powers each character gets a little dull, the multiple identical characters just confusing and the game wasn’t engaging at all. I might give this game another shot at some point, but at the moment, it’s at the bottom of my list.http://thegamefanatics.com/2012/03/27/kreation-meet-krater-post-apocalyptic-craft-combat/krater_art_5/
